[part 3] old enough to consent to it [which is not even that huge of an imagination stretch, since it's heavily implied she has a crush on Sugimoto anyway, lol] is frankly the most disturbing and disgusting aspect of it. So please don't let that type of attitude get to you, it's not worth it. And if you ever need someone to talk Golden Kamuy or Sugiripa with, my inbox is always open : D . It hurts so bad when I was reading all these stupid comments about my art and I was so stressed by this situation but now I don’t care about it because I know that there is people who do love my art and do have clear mind. You made my day! And I will work even harder to do my best!

[part 2] your art and please ignore all the hateful, ignorant comments you'll most likely keep getting - pay them no mind and, I would advise, block the worst offenders. You don't owe anyone anything. Tumblr is great in a lot of ways, but its holier-than-thou morality-policing that easily turns into shaming and bullying for daring to like different things in fiction, like, say, rooting for a relationship that is clearly the heart of a series to turn romantic in a context where Asirpa is [tbc]

When I saw your latest Sugiripa fanart, I honestly almost teared up. Not just because it's a breathtaking piece of art which does their beautiful bond justice, but also bc I never see any Western shippers of them? Like you, I 100 percent ship Sugimoto with an older!Asirpa, but sadly I'd only seen Japanese artists open-minded enough [and who know the difference between fiction and rl] to feel the same. Until I found your blog. THANK YOU so much for drawing them and for sharing [tbc]
